Sal C
Jan 18, 2025
Increase the value chain of traditional salt activities by integrating the production of seagrasses that can be used for ecological restoration, offsetting companies' CO2 emissions, and improving the quality of the final product by retaining pollutants, including microplastics, in the seagrasses.
Replication of the model in other Portuguese and Spanish salt production companies, extending the ecological, economic, and social benefits of this integration.
Improvement of the sector's image through the introduction of innovation and added value; economic and social enhancement of the activity through the creation of visibility and skilled employment opportunities.
